About the Artist

Kelly works out of a studio in her home in the Atlanta metro area, and often spends time in the many nearby parks taking photographs and enjoying 'plein air' painting on site.  This works out well for her young son, who much prefers being outdoors catching 'anything that moves' to any other possible activity. 

Kelly works part time as the Operations Manager for the local symphony, the Gwinnett Philharmonic.  She came to this position from her previous post as General Manager for the Conway Symphony Orchestra in Conway, Arkansas.  She plays horn with the Gwinnett Community Symphony Orchestra as well. 

She is also very active in the local PTA, and spends her spare time working in the yard, gardening.  Her love of flowers, trees and bushes bleeds over into her artwork on a regular basis.

Here are photos taken in Kelly's previous studio in Arkansas, showing some works in progress at the time. This picture shows one corner of her busy studio; you can see the just-completed Victorian and Iris windows, and a brass & glass window in the works.
