Art Deco features bold, geometric designs, often employing strong contrast in color and/or texture. Art deco may utilize images from nature or remain simply an abstract composition, as in these two wall clocks. Greys, blues and blacks, as well as strongly textured clear glass, lend themselves particularly well to art deco, sometimes offset by a strong, bright color such as cranberry red.
